We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications, phone number, credit card information, travelin purpose and period, country of residence); comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile. In addition, Black Desert Travel may gather other data that you consent to provide as well as data that is essential for the company’s operations.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

 

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

 

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Identifiable Information unless we provide users with advanced notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. Black Desert Travel has implemented security controls in order to prevent your personal information from being lost, changed, displayed or accessed without appropriate permissions. All access to personal data is limited to parties which need access based on job functions and all individuals handling or having access to personal data are bound by confidentiality clauses. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and never get stored or processed on our servers.

 

In the event of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you or the Privacy Authority, as appropriate by law.

Data Retention

Personal information will only be kept for as long as necessary in order to service the company’s business operations.
